Moonsorrow - Verisäkeet review: An essential to any folkviking metal fans collection. Moonsorrows best and the album that really deffined them as a band. Review Summary: An essential to any folkviking metal fans collection. Moonsorrow, what comes to mind when this band name is mentioned. To people who haven't heard the band before they would probably picture a tr00 kvlt black metal band with album names like Ravens from Forests Dark, or something to that effect. This would of course be a gross misconception of a very high quality band. Band Name Moonsorrow. Album Name Verisäkeet. Type Album. Released date 23 February 2005. Since their legendary Tama Ikuinen Talvi demo, this Enslaved Vs Bathory worshiping horde always had shown the potential of being destined for greatness Unlike Mithotyn who kicked off with some powerful material but their latest efforts turning out into sour cream , Moonsorrow keeps recording massive releases one after the other with Verisakeet possibly being their most powerful and Grande album to date
